Our building has the historic name of "Pyramid Masonic Center" and is a public meeting hall for the residents of Federal Way.
Facilities are available for individual and group rentals.
Building Rental
Get Banquet permit: lcb.wa.gov for serving alcohol ($10) Prior to rental
Insurance rider required for events. Contact Rental Manager for details.
- Cleaning and Security Deposit for Alcohol: $1,000 (Refundable)
- Cleaning and Security Deposit (no alcohol): $500 (Refundable)

Typical blocks of time are 5-6 hours - Timed from Entry to Fully Cleaned and Exited
Note: Some Rentals (large groups and alcohol) may require an on-site presence which will be discussed at time of contract).

- From I-5 North or South take Exit 142 towards Federal Way (West)
- At first light turn (Right) North on 16th Ave S.

- Sample Long term Lease/ Short term Tenant Agreement - Obtain from Rental Manager
- Note: Lease is an agreement for a period of one year or more.
- Short term rentals are for a single, or fixed number of events and are negotiated.

The Thornton F. McElroy Temple Association Inc. is a 501(c2) non profit title holding company.
The Building association is managed by a board of trustees elected for a three year term from members of the Lodge.
